 Austwell-Tivoli Independent School District is composed of two communities—Tivoli and its neighbor six miles away –the city of Austwell. It is a rural area with much agribusiness evident surrounding both communities. The District encompasses 266 square miles in Refugio County.
Austwell-Tivoli ISD (map item 15) serves K-12 with approximately 160 students, total. There are 20 teachers and 15 support staff ready to serve the children of A-TISD. The ratio of teachers to students is 10:1 throughout the District.
Austwell-Tivoli ISD graduating classes average 12 students a year. The District spends approximately $18,000 per student. On the average, more than half of graduating students enter college. Austwell-Tivoli ISD has paved the way for some of our graduates in a myriad of professions including engineers, lawyers, and accountants.
Austwell-Tivoli ISD athletic programs include basketball, volleyball, cross-county, tennis, and track. The gymnasium, which is air conditioned, has recently gone though a major overhaul with a new floor, dressing rooms, and other cosmetic touches. Contact Us
